Kelly Tires History

The Kelly Springfield Tire Company simply known as Kelly Tires is the oldest tire brand in the United States founded back in 1894. It began as a solid-rubber tire company marketing to horse-drawn carriage riders in Springfield, Ohio. In 1915 Kelly Tires joined the rubber capital of the United States, knowing an exponential growth.

After years Kelly Tires received a good reputation, trust, and loyalty from their customers due to its quality and affordable products. The main goal of Kelly is to provide high-quality tires at fair prices. These tires are able to ensure the maneuverability and dependability of a luxury tire. Initially, it operated as a subsidiary, but after years it was assimilated into Goodyear North America. Nowadays Kelly is a major sub-brand of Goodyear, which offers a wide range of specialized tires.

The new Kelly Edge A/S tire is a touring all-season tire designed especially for all types of coupes, sedans, minivans, crossovers, and some SUVs. The new Edge A/S model comes to replace the Charger GT, Safari Signature, and Explorer Plus, models. The Edge A/S has a unique tread compound and tread block design to provide exceptional traction on dry and wet road pavement. The main purpose of Edge A/S is to ensure high braking and acceleration performance and a comfortable ride experience at the same time. This model is available from 14 to 17 inches, and comes with either a T, H, and V-speed rating, with a 55,000 miles tread life warranty.

One of the most trustworthy All-Position Regional tires from Kelly is the KRH model. This tire comes with a deep 20/32" tread designed to provide long tread life and enhanced traction on wet and dry roads. Due to a special rib pattern, the wear becomes uniform. The KRH is available in the following sizes: 11R22.5, 295/75R22.5, and 11R24.5.
