The ADR comes with a wear resistant and EPA SmartWay Verified compound molded into an aggressive look tread design. It presents six ribs among which open notched shoulder blocks to ensure great traction in both wet and dry conditions. Square shaped footprint improves the braking and traction characteristics, without compromising the tire lifespan. In addition, an optimized footprint and unique tread design promote the great distribution of forces for more road grip.
For safety reasons, it has a durable tread compound molded into up to 27/32” deep tread pattern. Armstrong uses a five circumferential groove along with open lateral grooves to promote high aquaplaning resistance by quick water dispersion from under the tire footprint. Due to a self cleaning pattern, the tire shows high stone retention resistance.
