Armstrong ADR1 is a premium drive position tire developed for commercial use. This model delivers high performance when it comes to traction, mileage, and load safety in regional services.
The ADR1 comes with a wear resistant compound molded into an optimized design that presents six ribs among which open notched shoulder blocks. As a result, it shows improved traction in both wet and dry conditions. Square shaped tread design with independent central blocks reduces the braking distance and irregular wear, without compromising the tire life. In other words, the wide footprint promotes superb pressure distribution for more road adherence, and stability.
For safety reasons, it has a durable tread compound molded into up to 28/32” deep tread pattern combined with an advanced casing structure to increase resistance to road hazards. Armstrong uses five circumferential grooves to promote high aquaplaning resistance by better water evacuation from under the tire contact patch. Due to a self cleaning tread pattern with special tread blocks the tire provides high stone retention and drilling resistance.
