Continental ContiSportContact 2
This model is a Max Performance Summer tire developed especially for a wide range of powerful sports cars, sports coupes, and luxurious performance sedans. It shows a high performance when it comes to traction, braking, and handling.
The ContiSportContact 2 comes with advanced bionic tread compound technology molded into an asymmetric design combined with continuous ribs designed to offer more steering response and precision and extra stability on the road.
For safety reasons, this model presents the continuous circumferential tread grooves between the ribs designed to remove water from under the tire footprint, thus increasing the hydroplaning resistance, making the ride safer.
Inside the tread, we can find a special internal structure: Continental's Advanced Mold Contour, that allows the tire to become wider during braking making shortening stopping distances. The ContiSportContact 2 has twin steel belts reinforced by nylon designed to add durability, strength, enhancing handling as well as high-speed capability.
This tire is available from 17 to 20-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread warranty.
