This model is a Max Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of powerful sports cars, sports coupes, and luxury sedans for whom braking performance and agile steering precision are the main priorities.
The ContiSportContact 3 comes with an advanced summer tread compound molded into an asymmetric pattern combined with solid tread blocks and a continuous rib on the outboard shoulder for responsive handling, controlled steering, and cornering stability.
For safety reasons, this model presents continuous intermediate ribs that deliver constant rubber-to-road contact to reduce noise and control the longitudinal forces experienced when braking. To reduce the risk of hydroplaning the tire's continuous circumferential tread grooves. The notched shoulder blocks on the inboard portion enhance wet weather traction.
The ContiSportContact 3 is available from 17 to 20-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread warranty.
