Continental ContiTrac TR
This model is a highway all-season developed for a wide range of light trucks to provide good steering and control characteristics as well as improved traction for a responsive, enjoyable ride experience.
The ContiTrac TR comes with an advanced all-season tread compound molded into an asymmetric pattern combined with continuous central rib along with angled grooves to provide precise steering and reduce road and interior noise making the ride quiet and comfortable. Due to the new-generation compound with high silica content, the tire provides the best all-season traction, even on snow-covered pavement. For safety reasons, the Continental engineers use lateral notches and four wide circumferential grooves to effectively channel water away from the footprint thus increasing hydroplaning resistance.
One of the most notable characteristics of this model is self-cleaning staggered tread grooves provide better wet traction while preventing the build up of debris that can reduce performance in mud and snow.
The ContiTrac TR has a durable internal construction that consists of a strong polyester casing supported by two steel belts designed to ensure handling performance and high-speed durability as well. This model is available from 17 to 18-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread wear warranty.
