The ControlContact Tour A/S Plus uses Continental’s unique tread compound that includes Tg-F Polymers and +Silane additives designed to improve traction and handling performance on all types of road surfaces. The tread is molded into a symmetric tread design combined with full-depth sipes around the tread designed to increase grip and reduce stopping distances on wet pavement.
To increase the interior ride comfort the Continental engineers use a special band around the tire that sits between the steel belts and the tread to absorb bumps and road shocks for a smoother and more comfortable ride. For safety reasons, this tire has four wide circumferential and lateral grooves designed to reduce the risk of hydroplaning making the driving experience safer.
Inside the tire we can find the innovative internal structure that includes twin steel belt construction designed to add extra durability and strength.
