Continental HDO
This model is an advanced drive position tire developed for commercial use to show high performance when it comes to traction, uniform tread wear, load safety, and casing durability. It is designed to be used in logging, mining, construction, and severe service on/off-road applications.
The HDO model comes with an advanced cut/chip resistant tread compound molded into a wide aggressive tread lug design that presents special shoulders notches with a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing superior traction, grip, and road stability in gravel and dirt.
For safety reasons, it comes with a durable sidewall profile with curb rib to provide reduced damage from curbing, cuts, and abrasions for additional casing durability. Due to patented innovative groove geometry technology, the HDO shows high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, providing excellent wet braking performance. Due to self-cleaning tread elements and miniature stone bumpers, the tire gained high stone retention resistance for improved casing lifespan.
Continental HDO is available in 22.5-inch sizes, with 32/32” tread depth, being one of the best drive position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in regional transportation, and construction applications.
