Continental HSR2
This model is a steer/all-position tire developed especially to provide handling responsiveness, uniform tread wear for extra mileage, and road adherence in light off-road applications. It is designed especially for regional hauling and off-road use.
The HSR2 comes with a SmartWay verified compound molded into an optimized tread pattern that presents a four-rib with a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more stability at the same time. It uses the 23/32” tread that presents cut and chip resistant tread compound to provide casing durability, managing the road shocks and other hazards. Continental engineers use the latest innovation in the tire industry to provide longer wear and lower rolling resistance by predicting rubber characteristics at the molecular level.
For safety reasons, this model includes innovative technology to deliver minimum stone retention offering maximum casing durability and retreadability. The Continental uses patented groove geometry to promote improved resistance in terms of cracking and tearing. Three wide, deep circumferential grooves provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving overall performance.
Continental HSR2 is available from 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes backed by long-lasting treadwear being one of the best steer/all-position options for a wide range of vehicles used in freight transportation.
