Continental VikingContact 7
This model is a studless winter tire developed to meet the needs of premium sedans, crossovers, coupes, and family minivans owners who are looking for confident winter performance and a high level of safety. It delivers greater traction when it comes to wintertime slush, snow, and ice plus reliability.
The VikingContact 7 comes with an advanced Nordic compound molded into a unique tread pattern along with a groove network designed to create a direct path to evacuate water and slush from beneath the contact patch. This model uses canola oil designed to be more flexible and adapt to snowy or icy conditions, improving wet performance and braking.
For safety reasons, it presents solid linkages and special interlocked block bridges designed to stabilize the tread pattern. To provide the best winter experience the German engineers use grip edges on the outside of the tread blocks to grab into the snow and effectively increase the contact area of the tire.
The VikingContact 7 is one of the leaders when it comes to studless winter tires on the market. This model is available from 15 to 22-inch sizes with a limited tread life warranty.
