Continental PremiumContact 6 is a high-quality summer tire developed for sporty coupes, luxury sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and other prestigious vehicles to provide more contact and grip on the road. It has an innovative tread, blending an abrasion-resistant polymer compound with a supple tread pattern. Compared with its predecessor (ContiSportContact 5 and ContiPremiumContact 5), this model provides a 15% improvement in mileage and noise levels.
Continental PremiumContact 6 comes with the latest summer compound molded into an asymmetrical tread rib geometry. This model has a high-tech shoulder configuration combined with three special circumferential grooves and lateral tread grooves designed to add additional grip, road stability, and a safe ride experience.
It shows high performance when it comes to handling responsiveness, greater control, and traction. This model keeps up with its rival Michelin Pilot Sport 4. The PremiumContact 6 is also available with Continental's SSR system. It is a run-flat technology developed by Continental that is based on a self-supporting reinforced sidewall. In case of a puncture, this prevents the sidewall from being crushed between the rim and the road.
Select sizes feature ContiSeal technology, which seals a hole from a puncture, and ContiSilent technology, which reduces road noise. Continental PremiumContact 6 is available in 15 to 22-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread warranty.
