This model is a premium drive position tire developed for commercial use to show high performance when it comes to snow, rain and mud providing outstanding traction, tread wear, load safety, and road stability. It is designed to be used on/off highway and regional applications.
The RLB11 model comes with a rugged tread compound molded into a wide optimized tread design that presents open tread blocks with locking center rib developed to provide a blend of long wear and traction on all surfaces. A large footprint promotes pressure distribution for more road adherence, and stability even in severe winter applications. Siping in the tread blocks guarantee ultimate traction in rain conditions, mud and snow covered surfaces. It shows approximately the same performance as Bridgestone M770/ M799, Goodyear G182 RSD, or Michelin X Multi D.
For safety reasons, it comes with a tie bar on the outside shoulder to maintain stability of the footprint, thus combating the irregular wear. Robust tread design offers long mileage and wear while the speed and traction remain the same. The engineers use a deep tread combined with durable casing construction to improve casing integrity, reducing road hazards impact especially the bruises and penetrations. Double Coin uses a revolutionary groove geometry to deliver high aquaplaning resistance by better water, slush and snow evacuation from under the tire contact patch, promoting excellent braking/traction performance on all road surfaces and conditions. Due to self-cleaning tread elements the tire gained high stone retention resistance for improved casing lifespan.
Double Coin RLB11 is available in 17.5, 19.5, 20, 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes, with 14,16, 18-ply rating for more casing durability and safety.
