Firestone FS860
This model is a quality all-position tire developed especially for commercial use providing good traction, load safety, uniform tread wear for extra mileage, and additional road grip. It is designed to be used for refuse, high-scrub, and short-haul applications.
The FS860 comes with a trustworthy tread compound molded into an optimized tread design that presents aggressive blocks designed to bite into soft surfaces for powerful traction. It has a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more lateral stability at the same time. The tire uses the 24/32” tread depth to promote increased traction, grip more mileage, and additional casing durability.
For safety reasons, this model has special stone rejector platforms combined with angled grooves to provide more stone drilling resistance and extra biting edges for better-wet traction. Due to the wide circumferential tread grooves, the tire provides high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving wet braking and traction performance.
