Firestone tires

Firestone History

Firestone is a tire manufacturer founded back in 1900, in Akron, Ohio, which is well-renowned for its quality, reliable and affordable tires. In 1988 the Firestone was bought by the Japanese brand Bridgestone. Currently, Firestone continues to operate as a subsidiary of Bridgestone.

An interesting fact about this company is that Harvey Firestone had a personal friendship with Henry Ford, this is why it became the original equipment supplier of Ford Motor Company automobiles.
