Kumho Solus TA71
This model is a grand touring all-season tire developed for owners of sporty coupes and luxury performance sedans for whom responsive handling, all-weather traction, and quiet comfort are the main priorities.
Kumho Solus TA71 comes with an innovative nano-silica compound molded into an asymmetric tread pattern designed to disperse heat for extended tire lifespan but also to increase traction in cold temperatures. Due to computer-optimized design, the tire presents a large contact area that promotes grip and steering response in any weather. For safety reasons this model has four wide circumferential grooves engineered to remove water from under the tire footprint, promoting wet traction and managing the risk of hydroplaning.
One of the most highlighted innovations used by Kumho is ESCOT Casing Technology which optimizes sidewall cord tension distribution to promote steering response and tread life. To guarantee extra durability and strength the Solus TA71 comes with a special internal structure that features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon. Thanks to jointless bead bundles the ride becomes smoother by isolating bumps and vibration. The tire is available in a wide range of sizes with rim diameters from 15" to 19" with V and W-speed ratings. It is used as a replacement tire for Audi A4, A6, BMW 3 Series, Honda Accord, Mercedes C-Class, and many other models.
