The X MULTI Z 17.5 comes with an all-new tread compound molded into a directional design that presents a unique five-rib design for additional adherence in adverse weather. This model stands out with its Advanced Technology Compound that reduces up to 12% lower rolling resistance, thus improving fuel efficiency.
Due to the 6% greater contact area, the tire shows high performance when it comes to road stability and handling responsiveness. Michelin X MULTI Z 17.5 has four deep circumferential grooves combined with advanced hydro sipes designed to provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the tire footprint, delivering excellent grip at the same time. For safety reasons, the Z 17.5 gained extra-strong curb guards to increase casing durability by protecting sidewalls against most road hazards.
