This model is a premium Michelin’s drive tire engineered to provide superior traction, uniform wear, fuel efficiency, and more mileage. It is designed especially for line haul, regional applications providing load safety, more stability, handling responsiveness, and extra miles without compromising fuel efficiency.
The XDN 2 Grip comes with the next-generation application specific compound molded into an optimized tread design that presents a six-rib designed to deliver high traction in adverse weather even in severe winter conditions. One of the most highlighted technologies used by Michelin engineers is the Matrix Siping Technology designed to provide over 1300 biting edges for high traction and lug-like performance. Due to wide open shoulder grooves combined with this technology that means full depth, interlocking sipes with zigzag walls the tire provides confident year-round traction.
Michelin XDN 2 Grip has special tread grooves designed to provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the tire footprint, for improved traction and road adherence. Thanks to the durable internal structure the tire manages nail penetrations and other road hazards. To extend casing life the Michelin uses exclusive innovations stabilizing the entire bead region by reducing fatigue.
This model is available in 22.5-inch sizes, being one of the best drive tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in freight transportation.
