Michelin XZA
This model is one of the most fuel-efficient Michelin’s all-position tires engineered to provide high performance in terms of the demands of high scrub, uniform tread wear, fuel usage, and mileage. It is designed especially for line haul applications, providing extra load safety, mileage without compromising fuel efficiency.
The XZA comes with a next-generation compound molded into an optimized six-rib pattern that has a deeper tread for more mile use. It presents over 7,000 trapezoidal micro sipes on groove edges designed to promote superior traction on wet and slippery surfaces.
One of the most highlighted innovations used by Michelin engineers is the Infini-Coil Technology that incorporated over ¼ mile of steel cable used with the purpose to eliminate casing growth.
For safety reasons, this tire comes with five steel belt construction designed to provide extra protection for the casing and more stability on the road. Michelin XZA has optimized original shoulder groove design that means five wide circumferential grooves combined with advanced hydro sipes designed to provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire footprint, improving excellent grip performance at the same time.
This model is available in 22.5-inch sizes, being the best all-position tire option for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in freight transportation.
