This model is an all-terrain, all-position tire developed for special service in the extremely all-terrain application providing high performance when it comes to the mixed surface, hard/abrasive surface, and severe off-road.
The XZL+ comes with an advanced tread compound molded into a non-directional tread design that presents numerous open shoulders developed to provide exceptional traction in adverse weather and snow conditions. To improve mud, sand, and snow evacuation from under the tire contact patch this tire has self-cleaning offset elements designed to enhance traction and floatation capabilities.
This model presents exceptional casing life offered by radial casing design engineered to operate at lower pressures promoting exceptional mobility in all-weather conditions. One of the innovations used by Michelin is the full-width steel belt and elastic protector ply developed to increase the tire durability and strength, adding extra casing protection against most off-road hazards.
