This model is a fuel-efficient all-position/steer tire developed especially to improve rolling resistance, uniform tread wear for extra mileage, and additional road adherence. It is designed to be used in long-haul and specialized transport applications.
The R213 Ecopia comes with an advanced compound molded into an optimized tread pattern that presents a four-rib with a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more stability. It uses a 16/32” deep tread pattern to promote casing durability, managing road shocks, and other hazards. Bridgestone engineers use the latest innovation in the tire industry to provide longer wear and lower rolling resistance by predicting rubber characteristics at the molecular level. Compared with its predecessor R284 Ecopia, this model delivers 15% longer removal mileage.
For safety reasons this model has IntelliShape sidewall designed to reduce tire weight, thus minimizing rolling resistance promoting good casing durability. Three wide, deep circumferential grooves provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving wet braking and traction performance.
