This model is the best match in the most demanding environments that request high traction and high torque. It is the default equipment for companies that had work fields logging, construction, and waste haul.
This model is developed based on the original M320 model but improved and adapted for urban and on/off road applications. Compared with the M320 the new M320 Wide Base differs through a wider footprint, three rows of stone ejector platforms in contrast wpecial sipes on each tread block.
Above all, M320 Wide Base incorporates a cut and chip resistant tread compound shaped into a wide tread pattern. Due to semi closed shoulders along with lug-shaped center blocks, the tire provides long lasting, high durability, and good handling. The M320 WB benefits from DSOC II technology designed to optimize tread profile for uniform wear. On the other hand, an advanced rubber improves rolling resistance rubber for minimal costs per mile.
Stone ejector groove ejects stones delivering increased casing integrity. Four steel belted construction and a thick sidewall compound support heavy loads in both urban and regional services. Three rows of stone ejector platforms create high resistance against debris retention for maximum casing protection.
This tire is available in the following sizes: 385/65 R22.5, and 425/65 R22.5 with 18, and respectively 20-ply ratings, depending on the size.
