The Snowtrac 5 has a unique extreme silica tread compound molded into a highly directional tread pattern designed to provide handling stability and the best dry traction. The 3D self-locking sipes create additional biting edges to provide predictable and controlled winter traction. Due to the computer-optimized design, the tire presents a large contact area that promotes better pressure distribution, superb winter grip, and year-round steering response.
For safety reasons, the tire presents wide lateral grooves and open shoulders designed to evacuate better water from under the tire footprint for high hydroplaning resistance. This model has an innovative internal construction that consists of a single-ply polyester casing supported by two steel belts designed to ensure handling performance and high-speed durability as well.
Vredestein Snowtrac 5 is available from 13 to 17-inch sizes, in H, and T-speed rating. It is used as a replacement winter tire for many models like VW Passat, Honda Civic, Mercedes-Benz C-class, Toyota Camry, Hyundai I30.
