Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 is a studless winter tire with black sidewalls. It is developed especially for the drivers of pickups, crossovers, and SUVs for whom the grip in slush, snow, and on ice is the main priority. It comes with a focus on ice traction and braking, ride comfort even hydroplaning resistance.
Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 uses an adaptive NanoPro Tech Multicell compound molded into a directional tread design with 15% more aggressive block edges than the DM-V1 version. Due to the Multicell compound, the tread remains flexible even in below-freezing conditions and ice while the bite particles provide more grip and improved braking performance.
For safety reasons, Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 uses wide lateral and circumferential grooves to better channel water, slush, and snow away from the contact area. As a result, it increases the hydroplaning resistance for a safe and secure ride. Best of all, the Blizzak DM-V2 is branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. The first 55% of the Blizzak DM-V2's tread depth presents the NanoPro Tech Multicell Compound and 45% is a standard winter tire compound. This model is available in 15 to 22-inch sizes backed by a limited treadwear warranty.
