Bridgestone Blizzak WS70
This model is a non-studded winter tire developed to ensure the best winter traction along with more control and stability on the roads. It can serve a wide range of coupes, sedans, minivans, and crossovers, the WS70 is Bridgestone’s newest and most advanced studless snow tire.
The Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 comes with an advanced NanoPro Tech multicell tread compound molded into a directional tread design with the purpose to increase traction and grip on snow, ice, and wet surfaces. Due to the more flexible rubber tread compound, the tire provides the same grip in zero and below zero-degree conditions. The 3-D zig-zag sipes in the shoulder blocks add extra stiffness along with handling and cornering performance.
The WS70 has a directional tread design that presents four wide circumferential grooves and an optimized deeper tread width contact patch designed to better water dispersion from under the tire footprint, thus reducing the risk of hydroplaning. For extra durability and strength, the Bridgestone uses two steel belt construction that provides improved ride comfort and better treadwear.
