Bridgestone Blizzak WS80
This model is a non-studded winter tire designed to perform harsh winter conditions. It is developed to serve a wide range of coupes, sedans, and minivans.
The Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 has a NanoPro-Tech Multicell tread compound, molded into an advanced directional tread design to provide improved traction on slush, hard-packed snow, and ice-covered pavement. This model comes with a more flexible tread with the purpose to provide extra grip in low temperatures. It comes with a number of increased block edges compared with previous generations. The 3-D zig-zag sipes and unique tread bite particles help to guarantee one of the best traction in the studless class.
For safety reasons, the WS80 presents an optimized tread footprint along with circumferential grooves designed to increase wet traction and improved stability and controllability on the road.
Due to advanced tread pattern the braking and acceleration features have proven to be excellent. To add extra durability and strength, the Bridgestone uses two steel belt construction that provides improved ride comfort and better treadwear.
