Bridgestone DriveGuard
This model is a Grand Touring All-Season tire available with a self-supporting version (run-flat) designed for owners of family sedans, luxury crossovers, and premium SUVs who are looking for more safety, controllability, and comfort. The run-flat technology provides temporary extended mobility for a distance of 50 miles up to 50 mph even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss.
The Bridgestone DriveGuard model is developed to ensure year-round driving flexibility offering responsive handling, good traction, and extra control and stability on dry and wet roads. This model comes with an advanced silica-enhanced all-season tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread pattern designed to ensure confident traction, handling response, and extra cornering stability.
For safety reasons, the Bridgestone engineers use circumferential and cross grooves designed to better water evacuation to increase hydroplaning resistance. The Bridgestone engineers use two steel belts that are nylon reinforced by a polyester cord body to provide extra strength and durability.
