This model is a touring all-season tire developed to serve a wide range of luxury and premium crossovers, SUVs, and some light-duty pickup trucks. It promotes the best all-season capability, rides comfortably, and stability on the road, even in light snow.
Dueler H/P Sport AS comes with a high-silica tread compound molded into a symmetric design to improve traction in wet and wintry conditions, fuel-usage, and environment-impact.
For safety reasons, the Bridgestone engineers use the high-stiffness closed shoulders to provide extra cornering stability and handling response. The wide circumferential and high angle lateral grooves help better water evacuation under the tire footprint offering good hydroplaning resistance. Due to a full-depth tread design, the tire presents improved biting edges to promote all-season performance during the life of the tire.
Inside the tire we can find twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon added to provide extra durability while reducing tire weight and rolling resistance.
This model is available from 16 to 21-inches, backed by a 40,000-miles tread warranty. It is used as original equipment on crossovers and SUVs.
