Bridgestone M710 Ecopia
It’s an ultra fuel-efficient drive position tire developed to show performance in terms of fuel usage, long-lasting, traction, ride comfort, and load safety. It is designed to be used in tandem-axle applications especially for the long haul and regional haul applications.
The M710 Ecopia comes with a patented NanoPro-Tech tread compound molded into an optimized five-rib tread pattern to extend tire lifespan, promoting extra tread stiffness. The Bridgestone engineers use an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear. Continuous shoulder and high rigidity distribute weight and torque uniformly to reduce irregular wear promoting low rolling resistance. Bridgestone works with proven irregular-wear-fighting technologies to offer exceptional fuel economy. Compared with Michelin X Line Energy D this one delivers 8% longer removal miles.
For safety reasons, this model has an Intellishape sidewall added to reduce tire weight, reducing rolling resistance offering extra resistance to cuts and other road hazards, even abrasions from curbing and braking. Another important aspect is the special belt design that means a wide optimized belt package designed to promote additional resistance to punctures and cuts. It uses a zigzag circumferential groove to offer good aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, improving the best performance in severe weather conditions. Due to the advanced tie bar, this model promotes control movement of the center and second tread blocks for low rolling resistance improving fuel usage.
Bridgestone M710 Ecopia is available in 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes, with 24/32” tread depth, being one of the best drive position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in severe goods transportation and construction application.
