Bridgestone M749
It’s a drive radial tire developed to show high performance in terms of long-lasting, traction, ride comfort, and load safety. It is designed to be used in long and regional haul, in high-scrub application but also in specialized transportation.
The M749 comes with a cut and chip resistant tread compound molded into an aggressive directional tread pattern that presents a balanced combination between traction, grip, and wear. Due to open shoulders, this tire promotes reliable wet traction throughout the original tread life of the tire. The Bridgestone engineers use optimized footprint for better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear.
For safety reasons, this model has a patented WavedBelt design for additional casing durability resisting cuts and other road hazards, even abrasions from curbing and braking. It uses special tread grooves that guarantee high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, improving the best performance in severe weather conditions. Thanks to the flexible groove fence partition in the tire groove dampens the noise for a quieter ride experience.
Bridgestone M749 is available in 22.5-inch size, with 22/32” tread depth, being one of the best drive position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation and construction applications.
