Bridgestone M799

The Bridgestone M799 is a mixed service drive radial tire developed for commercial use to show performance in terms of traction, uniform tread wear, grip, load safety, and casing durability. It is designed to be used on/off-highway especially for dump trucks but also in severe service environments.

The Bridgestone M799 comes with a proven cut/chip resistant tread compound molded into an aggressive lug tread pattern that presents open shoulders for confident traction. Optimized footprint offers better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear. The Bridgestone engineers use a computer-designed all-steel casing that presents four steel belts and a strong steel body ply to promote additional flexibility in maneuvering over rough terrain improving casing durability and retreadability.

For safety reasons, Bridgestone M799 presents extra-wide and extra-deep tread with special lateral grooves designed to promote high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, improving the best performance in severe weather conditions. Due to special stone rejector platforms and groove geometry, the tire presents good stone retention resistance by improved resistance to capture and retention of casing-damaging stones. Another outstanding aspect is thick ribs on both sidewalls designed to combat curbing, cuts protecting the tire body from damage.

Bridgestone M799 is available in 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes, with 28/32” and 30/32” tread depth, being one of the best drive position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation in other severe services.
