Bridgestone R123 Ecopia
This model is a fuel-efficient trailer position tire developed especially for commercial use to provide load safety, uniform tread wear, and more mileage at the same time. It is designed for line haul routes and regional services.
The R123 Ecopia comes with a SmartWay verified tread compound molded into an optimized tread pattern that presents a five-rib with a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more stability. Bridgestone uses the latest innovation in the tire industry to provide longer wear and lower rolling resistance by predicting rubber characteristics at the molecular level. Due to the low rolling resistance, the tire provides improved fuel usage that reduces the annual costs. Compared with the R197, this model promotes up to $400 in fuel-saving and over 100,000 miles.
For safety reasons this model has IntelliShape and fuel saver sidewall developed to reduce overall tire weight and minimize rolling resistance for improved fuel usage. Four wide circumferential grooves provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving wet performance. Thanks to the optimized belt package and thick ribs on both sidewalls the tire shows improved safety along with excellent load-carrying capacity, and longer tread life.
Bridgestone R123 Ecopia is available from 22.5 to 24.5-inch sizes with 11/32” tread depth, backed by long-lasting treadwear being one of the best trailer options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation.
