Bridgestone R180
It’s an all-position commercial tire developed to show performance in terms of long-lasting, traction, ride comfort, grip, and improved fuel usage. It is designed to be used in the local pickup and delivery applications.
The R180 comes with a high scrub resistance tread compound molded into a five-rib tread pattern to promote handling responsiveness, traction, uniform wear, and high overall performance. The Bridgestone engineers use an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear. The tread presents multiple cross-rib sipes designed to cut through the water for powerful grip on wet roads. Thanks to the special shoulder design, the tire distributes weight and torque uniformly to reduce irregular wear.
For safety reasons, this model has a durable sidewall added to reduce tire weight, reducing rolling resistance offering more safety and additional payload capacity. It uses four circumferential tread grooves that guarantee high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, improving the good braking performance in wet weather conditions.
Bridgestone R180 is available in 17.5-inch size, with 14/32” tread depth, being one of the best drive position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation especially in local applications.
