Bridgestone Turanza EL42
This model is a Standard Touring All-Season tire designed to serve a wide range of sport coupes, family sedans, premium crossovers, and minivans. It was engineered to deliver the best year-round traction, responsive handling, ride comfort, and safety on the road.
The Bridgestone Turanza EL42 comes with an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric tread pattern designed to ensure enhanced traction on both dry and wet surfaces, extra stability, and ride comfort as well. To perform in winter condition, it has siped rectangular tread blocks that combine snow biting edges for extra dry road stability.
For safety reasons, the EL 42 presents wide lateral and circumferential tread grooves for better water evacuation from under the tire's footprint thus reducing the risk of hydroplaning.
To provide extra durability and strength the Bridgestone engineers use a special internal structure that presents a twin steel belt construction reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to improve the tread area and enhance treadwear, handling, and ride comfort.
This model is available from 16 to 19-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread warranty. Used as Original Equipment for Infiniti EX37 Journey, Infiniti QX50 and other models.
