This model is a fuel-efficient trailer position tire developed especially for commercial use to provide load safety, uniform tread wear, and more mileage over the life of the tire. It is designed for line haul routes and on-highways.
The Conti EcoPlus HT3 comes with an all-new SmartWay verified and advanced cap/base compound molded into an optimized tread pattern that presents a multi-rib with a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more stability at the same time. Continental uses the latest innovation in the tire industry to provide longer wear and lower rolling resistance by predicting rubber characteristics at the molecular level. Due to the ultra-low rolling resistance, the tire provides improved fuel usage that reduces the annual costs.
For safety reasons this model is built on the innovative Conti 3G Casing developed to promote maximum durability, and retreadability. Two wide circumferential grooves provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving wet performance. Thanks to these innovations the tire shows improved safety along with excellent load-carrying capacity, and longer tread life.
Continental Conti EcoPlus HT3 is available from 22.5 to 24.5-inch sizes with 13/32 and 18/32nds tread depth, backed by long-lasting treadwear being one of the best trailer options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation.
