Continental ContiSportContact 5P
This model is a Max Performance Summer tire developed for the drivers of some of the world's most prestigious high-performance sports cars, coupes, and sedans. It shows the high performance when it comes to steering precision, cornering stability, and short braking distances in dry and wet conditions.
The ContiSportContact 5P has a special tread compound with Continental's Black Chilli Technology that features an innovative type of racing-grade carbon black to ensure a speedy warm-up along with special grip resins that optimize traction on wet and dry roads. This compound is molded into an asymmetric tread pattern with a continuous center rib flanked by a large number of small, interlocked tread blocks to provide uniform wear, acceleration, and cornering performance.
For safety reasons, the ContiSportContact 5P presents wide circumferential grooves designed to help water flow through the footprint to resist hydroplaning risk making rides safer. Limited sizes of the ContiSportContact 5P are available with Continental's ContiSilent Technology which means a layer of sound-absorbing foam used to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle.
This model is available from 17 to 22-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread warranty.
