Continental ContiTrac
This model is a highway all-season developed for a wide range of light trucks to provide durability, quiet ride, and comfort combined with good year-round traction, and mileage.
The ContiTrac comes with a new, all-season tread compound molded into a symmetric pattern designed for a smooth and quiet ride experience. The Continental uses a special tread pattern to increase tread block rigidity while also optimizing the tire's contact with the road.
Due to the new-generation compound with high silica content, the tire provides the best all-season traction, even on snow-covered pavement. For safety reasons, the Continental engineers use lateral notches and four wide circumferential grooves to effectively channel water away from the footprint thus increasing hydroplaning resistance. An optimized design reduces road vibrations to improve ride comfort, while the relatively aggressive tread design provides strong traction and performance.
The ContiTrac has a durable internal construction that consists of a strong polyester casing supported by two steel belts designed to ensure handling performance and high-speed durability as well. This model is available from 16 to 18-inch sizes, backed by a limited warranty.
