Continental CrossContact LX
This model is a Touring All-Season tire developed to meet the needs of owners of SUVs and light-duty pickup trucks for whom the high highway and light off-road performance are the main priorities. It is designed to reduce noise and rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency.
The CrossContact LX comes with an advanced Continental's Tri-net silica tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread pattern combined with a notched outboard shoulder supported by a continuous circumferential rib designed to promote on-road steering response, ride comfort, and stability on the road.
For safety reasons, this tire has independent central tread blocks featuring interlocking sipes and four broad circumferential grooves to increase hydroplaning resistance and reduce the possibility of tire damage from stones becoming caught in the tread design.
When we talk about the LX models, we should mention Continental's Acoustic Alterra Technology. This innovation distributes sound overall surfaces for lower interior and road noise. Inside CrossControl LX, we can find an innovative internal structure that includes twin steel belt construction designed to add extra durability and strength. This model is available from 16 to 18-inch sizes, backed by a limited tread warranty.
