Continental HCS
This model is an all-position wide base tire developed especially for commercial use to provide high traction, load and driver safety, uniform tread wear, and more road stability. It is designed to be used in on/off-road and mixed service applications.
The HCS comes with an advanced cap/base compound molded into an aggressive tread pattern that presents innovative structure and geometry, with a wide footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more stability at the same time.
For safety reasons, this model includes a rugged and durable casing design to improve casing durability by managing road hazards especially bruises and penetrations. Special grooves provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving the mining and off-road performance. Due to self-cleaning tread elements and advanced groove geometry, the tire presents high stone retention resistance for improved casing lifespan.
Continental HCS is available from 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes with 27/32, and 40/32nds tread depth, being one of the best all-position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in mining and off-road applications.
