Continental HTC1
This model is a trailer/all-position wide base tire developed especially for commercial use to provide high traction, handling responsiveness, uniform tread wear, and more mileage over the life of the tire. It is designed to be used in on/off-road and mixed service applications.
The HTC1 comes with a cut and tear-resistant tread compound molded into an aggressive tread pattern that presents a five-rib, lug-like design with a wide base footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more stability at the same time.
For safety reasons, this model includes a rugged casing design along with a durable sidewall to improve casing durability by managing road hazards especially bruises and penetrations. Special grooves provide high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush dispersion from under the footprint, improving performance in on/off mixed service applications. Due to self-cleaning tread elements and advanced groove geometry, the tire presents high stone retention resistance for improved casing lifespan.
Continental HTC1 is available with 24/32” tread depth, being one of the best trailer/all-position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation and construction applications.
