The TerminalTransport comes with an advanced cut/chipping/chunking resistant compound molded into an optimized tread pattern that presents a five-rib design with closed shoulders designed to boost the lateral stability, road adherence and traction. Large footprint promotes better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more safety at the same time. It has a deep pattern to promote casing durability by managing road shocks, and other hazards for additional mileage. Continental uses the latest technologies in the tire industry to offer longer wear and lower rolling resistance by predicting rubber characteristics at the molecular level. Due to improved tread compound at molecular level this tire provides shorter stopping distance on slippery and wet surfaces, thus increasing the load and driver safety. To increase the load-carrying capacity the Continental uses special belt casing construction, to offer high internal structure durability and retreadibility.
For safety reasons this model has innovative groove geometry designed to deliver minimum stone retention offering maximum casing durability.
