For safety reasons, this model has Continental's +Silane additives designed to improve all-season traction, while wide, circumferential grooves increase the water dispersion from under the tire footprint offering high hydroplaning resistance.
One of the most notable technologies used by Continental engineers is Comfort Ride Technology incorporates an underlay beneath the tread that is designed to isolate the tread from the casing and reduce noise and vibration.
