The ContiSportContact 6 comes with an advanced summer Black Chili compound molded into an asymmetric tread pattern combined with a strong outboard shoulder with a closely spaced intermediate rib to provide maximum grip and more lateral stability at a high-speed range. To ensure a controlled feel and responsive turn-in the Continental engineers use continuous center ribs.

For safety reasons, Continental ContiSportContact 6 has deep circumferential grooves and lateral notches designed to better water evacuation from under the tire footprint thus increasing the risk of hydroplaning. Inside the tread, we can find a two-ply rayon casing that supports two high-tensile steel belts. Exclusive hybrid cap ply that reinforces the steel belts and promotes tire shape at high speeds for improved stability and safety.
