Double Coin FD425
It’s a super-wide base drive-position tire developed to show high performance when it comes to traction, fuel usage, grip, and load safety. It is designed to be used in long-haul applications, but also in regional transportation.
The FD425 comes with a fuel-efficient EPA SmartWay verified tread compound molded into a special eight-rib tread pattern engineered to promote superior traction, reducing the irregular wear for extended tire lifespan, along with minimal annual costs. Chinese engineers use a wide footprint for better pressure distribution promoting uniform wear and more road stability as well. To reduce CO2 emissions, the Double Coin uses a specialized tread compound developed to promote low rolling resistance along with improved fuel efficiency on highways. This model shows the same performance as Bridgestone Greatec M845 Ecopia, Goodyear 392A SSD and Continental HDL2 EcoPlus.
For safety reasons, this model has seven deep, wide circumferential grooves that guarantee high aquaplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, providing the best performance in wet weather conditions.
