The ESPIA EPZ II comes with Silica Enriched Polymer designed to make the tread remain pliable even in severe winter conditions. This 4D Nano Technology helps the tread to adapts to varying weather conditions, delivering confident dry performance. It uses an advanced tread compound molded into an aggressive zigzag shape tread pattern that presents unique rib placement with larger outer-edge block-style ribs delivering more traction and adherence on many types of surfaces.
For safety reasons, the tire has innovative circumferential grooves combined with wide lateral grooves designed to improve winter performance and increase the aquaplaning resistance by better water evacuation from under the tire footprint. The Falken engineers use the latest technologies in the tire industry to improve traction performance on snow and ice and minimize tread noise, making the ride comfortable and pleasant. Due to high-sipe density, the tire gained more biting edges across the tread surface providing the best ice braking performance.
