This model is a fuel-efficient steer position tire developed especially for commercial use providing handling responsiveness, load safety, uniform tread wear for extra mileage, and additional road grip. It is designed to be used on long and regional-haul services.
The FS507 Plus comes with a SmartWay verified and CARB compliant tread compound molded into an optimized tread design with a large footprint for better pressure distribution providing increased mileage, adherence, and more lateral stability at the same time. It uses the 19/32” tread depth to promote increased fuel efficiency, more mileage, and additional casing durability. Firestone engineers use the latest innovation in the tire industry to provide longer wear and lower rolling resistance by predicting rubber characteristics at the molecular level.
For safety reasons, this model has stress relief sipes designed to manage the irregular wear along the main ribs by absorbing rib edges stresses in the contact patch.
