Firestone T819
This model is a long-lasting and durable all-position tire developed for commercial use to show performance in terms of traction, grip, tread wear, handling, and load safety. It is designed to be used in a wide variety of demanding applications such as logging, construction, oil field use, even off-road trailers use.
The T819 model comes with a cut/chip resistant tread compound molded into a rugged four-rib tread design to deliver excellent traction characteristics and improved grip on wet and dry conditions. It uses an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution providing more mileage, grip, superb traction, and load safety.
For safety reasons, this model has four steel belts combined with cap/base compounding to resist damage from cuts, chips, and other road hazards. Firestone engineers use aggressive and solid shoulder ribs to increase wet performance by delivering more biting edges.
Three wide, deep circumferential grooves guarantee high hydroplaning resistance by better water and slush evacuation from under the tire contact patch, providing the best braking and grip performance. To prevent stone drilling and retention, this tire presents a stone rejector element along with a special groove shape, protecting belts from potential damages at the same time
Firestone T819 is available in 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes, with 20/32” tread depth being one of the best all-position tire options for a wide range of commercial vehicles used in goods transportation and construction applications.
