Hercules H-933 is a trustworthy drive position winter tire designed for commercial use. This model promotes great all season traction, and powerful grip, in harsh winter, serving a variety of box trucks, 18 wheelers, and P&D vehicles.
The H-933 comes with a silica compound molded into a directional tread design. It presents six full traction ribs among which open shoulder blocks combined with special sipes on tread blocks. As a result, this model ensures superb traction in dry and wet conditions, but also in severe winter. In addition, an aggressive tread design with independent central blocks boosts the braking and traction on snow and icy roads. Thanks to special groove geometry the tire shows high resistance to stone retention and drilling, thus protecting the casing.
For example, it has a unique tread compound molded into an extra deep up to 27/32nds tread pattern. Moreover, it has a wide footprint for more contact with the road and great weight distribution. The H-933 also presents five zigzag straight grooves, combined with open shoulder grooves. These elements expel quick water, and snow from under the tire footprint, thus reducing the risk of hydroplaning. For safety reasons, the engineers use heavy duty, all steel casing that promotes up to 2 retreads for extended mileage.
Hercules H-933 is available in 19.5, 22.5, and 24.5-inch sizes, with 14 and 16-ply ratings.
