Kumho KLD02(e)
This model is a commercial all-season tire developed to provide longer mileage, great year-round traction, road stability, uniform wear. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s drive axle.
This KLD02(e) comes with an innovative all-season tread compound molded into a symmetrical tread design that presents closed shoulder ribs combined with intermediate support block design to provide outstanding traction and low rolling resistance. It has an advanced casing profile and an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution along the tread area. Due to the symmetric tread pattern, the tire gained outstanding performance when it comes to rolling resistance, braking, and wear.
Aggressive center rib buttons provide excellent traction by an increased number of biting edges gripping the road surface to deliver extra adherence on wet roads. For safety reasons this model has a special tread groove designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention but also to offer high aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the footprint, improving the year-round traction.
Kumho KLD02(e) model is available in 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes backed by long-lasting treadwear being the best drive wheel position option for a wide range of trucks and commercial vehicles.
