Kumho KRD01
This model is a commercial all-season tire developed to provide maximum tread life, long performance in high scrub, great year-round traction, and road stability. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s drive axle.
This KRD01 comes with an innovative all-season tread compound molded into an aggressive tread pattern that presents a solid shoulder and center lug to provide outstanding traction and low rolling resistance. It has a strong casing profile and an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution along the tread area. Due to the wider and flatter tread arc, the tire gained uniform tread wear and better load distribution characteristics.
For safety reasons this model has a special tread groove designed to prevent stone drilling and stone retention but also to offer high aquaplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from under the tire contact patch, improving the year-round traction.
Kumho KRD01 model is available in 22.5 and 24.5-inch sizes backed by long-lasting tread wear and is one of the best drive wheel position options for a wide range of trucks and commercial vehicles.
