Kumho KRD03
This model is a commercial regional haul tire developed to provide maximum wear and traction, road stability, and a quiet and comfortable ride experience. It was made with the purpose to be used on the vehicle’s drive axle in Regional and P&D applications.
This KRD03 comes with an innovative sturdy, wear-and-tear resistant tread compound molded into an aggressive tread pattern that presents open shoulder combined with close-packed to provide maximum forward traction, uniform wear, and enhanced braking performance. It has a strong casing profile and an optimized footprint for better pressure distribution along the tread area. Due to high-density center elements, the tire delivers the best grip, acceleration, and extra durability combined with good fuel efficiency.
For safety reasons this tire has a special tread groove designed to prevent the risk of aquaplaning by dispersing water and slush from under the tire contact patch, improving the forward traction. To increase the load safety the Kumho engineers use four belt design combined with advanced casing construction.
